Visitation for Jose Matilde Perez, 63, of Ceres, will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 15 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel in Turlock. A Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. on April 15, also at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias. A funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 16 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave., Turlock. Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park.
Jose Matilde Perez was born on June 4, 1946, in Jalostotlan, Jalisco, Mexico and died April 8, 2010, in Modesto, Calif. He worked on the line for Foster Farms for 13 years and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Juana Romo de Perez of Ceres; sons, Juan Perez of Modesto, Raul Perez and his wife, Ysenia, of Delhi, and Gerardo Perez of Ceres; daughter, Luz Margarita Perez of Ceres; brothers, Miguel Perez Romo and Jesus Peres, both of Mexico; sister, Claudia Perez Romo of Mexico; and nine grandchildren.
