Jose Pinheiro de Freitas, 61, passed away on Dec. 4, 2009. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10 with a Rosary following at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd. A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 11 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
Jose was born in the Azores on Dec. 11, 1947. He leaves behind his wife, Maria Fatima Pinheiro Freitas; his sons, Jose Manuel Freitas Jr. of Hilmar, Eduino Manuel Freitas and Manuel Andre Freitas of Turlock; his siblings, Manuel Antonio Freitas of Turlock and Eduino Pinheiro Freitas of Oakdale; and his grandchildren, Cristina Alice Freitas, Marina Jo Freitas, Larry Antony Freitas and Caitlin Rae Freitas.
