Josefina M. Carranza (Mama-Fina) was called to be with our Lord on Dec. 13, 2009 in San Francisco and reunited with her two beloved sons, Javier (Harvey) and Jose (Chepo) Carranza in the walk of eternal life.  
She was born in Zac., Mexico, on Nov. 15, 1925, and resided in Delhi. Mama-Fina was a very wise, giving, and unconditionally loving person that touched many lives.  Her pride and joy of life were her children and grandchildren. She donated to the Northern California Transplant Bank for Skin needed by children.
She is survived by her loving soul mate, Jose Carranza, who she married on Aug. 10, 1941; and her six children, Juanita Carranza of Chicago, Salomon Carranza of Delhi, Ernestina Carranza of Fontana, Adela Morrison of Le Grand, Tony Carranza of Denair and Carlos Carranza. She is also survived by 44 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren;12 great great grandchildren; brothers, Manuel and Fortunato Mercado, both of Chicago; and sister, Oliva Esparza of Colorado.
She will be greatly missed and forever live in our hearts.
Services have been held. Burial was at Turlock Memorial Park.
