Joseph James Folino Jr. passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015. He was born October 25, 1927 to Joseph and Anne Folino in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Joe served his country in the U.S. Navy during both WWII and the Korean War. The aerospace industry brought him to CA in 1956 and he lived in the Los Angeles area for a number of years before moving to Turlock. Joe was also an owner of the Red Steer restaurant for 11 years. 

Over the years, he has been an active member of the USS Laffey Association, the Screen Actors’ Guild, National Authors Registry, American Legion, and Kiwanis Club.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Anne Folino. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Dinah Gray Folino, children, Michael Folino and Sabin Woods, grandchildren, Aiden and Ashe Woods, and siblings, Bob Folino and  Joanne Johnson.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., in Turlock.
