Joseph Mestrovich, 65, of Modesto, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 12.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph and Dorothy Mestrovich in 1944. After high school, Joseph enlisted in the U. S. Marines. In 1964, he settled in
Modesto. For 35 years he was a carpenter and was a member of the Carpenter’s Union Local #25. Joseph enjoyed his bird and repairing projects.
Joseph is survived by his girlfriend, Betty Dean of Modesto; stepchildren, Anna Marie Tackett and Richard Musick; step granddaughter, Lisa Risdom; and step great granddaughter, Alyssia Morgan.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at Allen Mortuary. Committal service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. Please share your memories at www.allenmortuary.com.
