Juanita Roman, 92, of Ceres was born April 13, 1918 in Havana, Cuba and passed away on Sept. 1, 2010 in Turlock.
She was a seamstress for 50 years.
She is survived by sisters, Antonia de la Torre of Ceres, Cira Hernandez of Ceres and Zenaida Aguilera of Merced; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felipe Roman in 2009.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 5 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock. A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 5, also at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias. It will be officiated by Pastor Alexander Ramirez. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 6 at Ceres Cemetery, 1801 E. Whitmore Ave., Ceres.
Services are under the direction of Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service of Turlock.
