Judith (Judy) Waterson, 77, died peacefully October 26, 2014, at her home in Turlock, California. A private Graveside service will be held at Turlock Memorial Park.

Judy was born in Sidney, Nebraska, in 1936. After graduating from Sidney High School Judy attended the University of Nebraska, Colorado State University and C.S.U., Long Beach. She was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She was married to William Waterson in 1961 at the Light Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sidney. Except for living in Sidney for one year, they resided in Turlock for the remainder of her life. After receiving her California teaching credential from C.S.U., Stanislaus, she taught at Turlock High School. Judy loved music and sports, especially the San Francisco Giants, the Oakland A’s, the 49’ers and of course the Cornhuskers. Her family and friends will miss her sweet nature and sense of humor.

She is survived by her husband, William Waterson, Daughters Nancy Glenn and Jennifer Waterson,    Grandchildren Kelsey and Elise Glenn, and Brother Jeff. Donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, Rocky Mountain Conservancy, or to the charity of your choice.
