A memorial service for Judy Givens, 70, will be held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 26 at the First Baptist Church of Modesto on Needham Avenue. She died Sunday.
She was born in Eskridge, Kansas and lived in Turlock for the past 23 years. During her time in Turlock, she worked as a home health aide and enjoyed being a home maker. She was married for 53 years to Bill Givens, who passed away in May.
She was very much loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Rivas of Bartlesville, Okla., Linda Fisher of Turlock, William (Skip) Givens of Modesto and David Givens of Turlock; grandchildren, Karen Krusch of Manteca, Jaime Freitas of Bartlesville, Okla., Stoney Fisher of Cedar City, Utah, Tavis Fisher of Boise, Idaho and Kaylee Givens of Modesto. She is also survived by great grandchildren, Amber, Miranda, Justin, Damien, Madison and Kyson.
Services are under direction of the First Baptist Church of Modesto.
