Karen Ann Smith, 76 of Turlock passed away at her home after a lengthy illness. 

She is survived by her husband Donald Smith, her children, John Witworth, Steve Smith, Laura De La Hoya and Sandi Ferro.  Nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren also survive her as well as one sister, Maureen Coffey.  Karen is preceded in death by her son, Paul Smith. brother Frank Malahy.

Karen was a very hardworking single mother for several years until she met her husband, Don.  She enjoyed fashion, great food and a nice glass of wine.  Some of her favorite past times consisted of sewing, cooking, spending time outdoors and with her husband and grandchildren.

She was a member of the Moose Lodge#1683 in Turlock. 

Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm on Friday, March 31 at Allen Mortuary.  A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, April 1, also at Allen Mortuary.  Interment will be private.
