Kathryn was born in Montazuma, Kansas to Jacob and Agnes Friesen in 1919.
She enjoyed doing crazy quilting with feather stitching, which is a hobby she did at Brandel Manor up until her passing.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Stone of Hilmar; son, Arthur (Georgett)Decker of Woodland and daughter-in-law, Joy Decker; sisters, Agnes Loewen of Sun City, Ariz., Rebecca Jantz and Dorothy Jantz, both of Livingston, and Bertha Erb of Turlock; brother, Daniel Friesen of Kent, Wash.; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Decker; son, Jesse Decker; three sisters; and one brother.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22 at Allen Mortuary.
