Kathryn Karp, 78, of Turlock, passed away at her home with her family at her side.  She was born in San Francisco to Nick and Mary Loscutoff.  Kathryn grew up there and attended San Francisco schools. Although she worked for 20 years as a medical transcriptionist, her great love was to entertain and cook for her family. She also did amazing work with the Chinese craft of Paper Tole.

Kathryn is survived by children, Frank (Sherri) Karp of Turlock, Jim (Ilona) Karp of Oakdale and Cheryl (Denzel) Barrett of Fremont; brother, Richard Loscutoff of Sonora; five children; and 11 great grandchildren. 

Her family will honor Kathryn at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9 at Russian Molokan Sectarian Cemetery in Colma, Calif.
