Ken Hearn passed away peacefully at his home in Turlock after a brief and brave battle with cancer; he was 58 years old. He worked for Fed Ex freight for 26 years and lived in Turlock for the past 37 years. He enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren with special treats and spending time with his family.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Pennie Hearn, and their children, Tim Hearn of Ceres and Kimberlie and her husband, Chad, Ballard of Twain Harte. He was adored by his grandchildren, Andrew Hearn, Audrey Hearn, Timothy Hearn, McKenlie Ballard and Kenidee Ballard. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Emily Ralston of Lewiston, Idaho; niece, Stephanie Landrey of Tennessee; and nephew, Chad Goodwin of Turlock. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Alma Hearn.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 12 at New Life Christian Center, 2918 Tuolumne Rd. in Turlock.
