Kenneth Burdno passed away Dec. 26, 2009 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.
He was born in Kalamazoo, MI in September 1933. He graduated from Sturgis High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956, then transferred to the Naval Reserves until 1960. He settled in Delhi after the service and was a truck driver for 40 years. In his younger years, he was an avid hunter. He was loved by his neighbors and was adopted by the Hibdon family in 1982.
He is survived by his three sisters, Hope Beahr, Jane Renbarger and Pat Mollberg. He is also survived by his adopted family, Bill and Leah Hibdon. He was preceded in death by a sister, nephew and niece.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 15 at the residence of Bill and Leah Hibdon in Delhi.
