Kenneth Harland Moore, 90 years old, passed away on January 12, 2014
Born in Turlock Calif May 29, 1923 to Wilford and Cora Snider Moore
He was married to Dorothy Hauck Moore.  They were married in 1945 and she preceded him in death in 1991.
He bravely served in World War 11 in the Field Artillery Division and received  numerous military medals and awards. He spent the next 60 + years in the trucking Industry.
Kenneth married Marjorie Engel in 1993 in Santa Cruz California. 
Ken was a very successful businessman in the trucking industry.  He was well respected and loved and admired by everyone who knew him.  He was very proud of the fact that he went to work everyday of his life right up to the end.
Survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Marjorie Moore.  His daughters Peggy Youmans and Janis Bloom both of Watsonville Calif, and brother Marvin Moore in Washington.  His step son Fred Engel (LaRee) of Park City, Utah; step daughter Nancy Pollard of Park City, Utah. Grandchildren, David Jantz, Sara Youmans, Stephen Youmans. (Emily) of Santa Cruz County Calif. Numerous step grand children and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of his Life is scheduled Saturday, Jan 18, 2014 from 3:00-5:00 pm at the Indian Palms Country Club clubhouse, Indio, California.
