Services for Khachick “Mike” Armenak Baghdasarian will be held at 10 a.m. July 29 at the St. Zaia Assyrian Church of the East, with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park. Mike passed away at Memorial Medical Center after battling complications from a stroke he had 11 years ago that left him in a wheel chair.
He was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq. He was a great and caring husband,
father and grandfather. Mike was both generous and well-respected in the
community. He was a very capable man and would do anything for anyone;
everyone relied heavily on his ability to help. Along with his loving and kind way, he would be the first one to tell you his favorite motto: “It’s my way or the highway!” His way was the very best way to help others and he knew it. He was loved by all and will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Younia; children, Nina Saldana, Mary Hernandez, Armen Baghdasarian, Rita, Shamerian, Loretta, George Ibrahim, Albert Ibrahim and Roni Ibrahim; and 17 grandchildren.
Allen Mortuary is in charge of arrangements, please share your memories at www.allenmortuary.com.
