Lavada Frances Barrett 78 of Turlock passed away in the comfort of her home with her family by her side.
Lavada is survived by her children Marvin Barrett of Boise, ID, Brenda Villescaz of Turlock, CA, Bruce Barrett of Lodi, CA; and step-children Mary Robillard of Salinas, CA, and Dale Barrett of Seaside, CA. She is also survived by sisters Betty Soghomonian of Fresno CA and Mary Lorenz of Turlock CA and brother Allen Cooksey of Seaside; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband Alfred Barrett, daughter Beverly Barrett, one brother and three sisters.  Services are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. Viewing will be Saturday, Aug 24th 12:00 pm  to 4:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at Allen Mortuary on Sunday, Aug 25th at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place on Tuesday, Aug 27th at the Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose.
