Leatrice Kinnu, 84, was a lifelong Turlock resident. She was born in Turlock, went to Turlock schools, graduated as valedictorian of the Turlock High School Class of 1944, and passed away in Emanuel Hospital in Turlock on Friday after an extended illness.
She married William Kinnu in Sherman Oaks in 1956. Through the years her husband was a salesman for McMahan
Furniture. Leatrice was a gifted artist and was a piano teacher in her own home for 30 years.
