Linda Marie Clipper passed away on February 5, 2026, at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, California. Born on June 29, 1947, in Turlock, California, Linda was a devoted advocate for political causes throughout her life, dedicating her efforts primarily in Turlock, Modesto, and the Bay Area. She held a B.A. in political science and was an active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she contributed her beautiful voice to the choir. Linda’s passion for politics was paralleled by her love for art, photography, and singing.
She is survived by her son, Jon Clipper; daughter, Laurie Ladine; son-in-law, Bobby Ladine; grandchildren, Ledger and Jonah Ladine; sister, Liane Reyes; and brother, Scott Ricardo. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Irene Ricardo, and her sister, Laura Nibler.
A visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., followed by a rosary at 9:00 a.m., and a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on February 17, 2026, at Turlock Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome to join the services at any time.
