Linda was born in Glendale, CA to George and Lois Slocum and passed away at the age of 76.  She was a teacher for 30 years, most of the time she taught at Bryant Middle School in Dos Palos.  Linda had a passion for helping people and spent a lot of her life volunteering in the community.  She volunteered for Teen Challenge Women’s Auxiliary, Jessica’s House and Emanuel Medical Center.  

Linda enjoyed travelling and had been to many places around the world including Jerusalem, Turkey, Greece and Germany where she helped at an orphanage.  Her faith was very important to her and she was a devout Christian.  Linda always supported her children and grandchildren and was a proud “Cheer Grandma”.  

She is survived by her children Nicole (Shawn) Cooper and Michael Pimentel; brother George Slocum and grandchildren Maci Cooper, Gianna Cooper, Taryn Cooper, Rachel Pimentel and Lilleigh Pimentel.
