Lola Moore, 77, of Turlock, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center.  Lola was born in Torrance CA to Robert and Nadine Drennen.  She grew up and attended school in the Los Angeles area.  She later moved to Fresno where she met her future husband JM Moore who had just completed his tour of duty in the Army.  They lived in the Los Angeles area before moving to the Central Valley in 1966.  Lola was a homemaker who took great pride in her home and family.  She enjoyed many hobbies.  She taught herself to sew and through the years she made clothes for her daughters.  She also took care of her mother for many years until she passed away in the year 2000. 

  In her later years she became a member of the Turlock Senior Center where she entertained many people every Wednesday night with her singing in Jim’s Big Band.  She was a fun and loving woman who will be sincerely missed by her family and many friends.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

  Lola is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years.  She is survived by two daughters:  Coleen (Gary) Williamson of Turlock and Margaret (David) Lake of Modesto; two grandsons: Robby and Randy Moles and four great grandchildren.
