Memorial services for Luana Fiorini, 71, of Turlock have been held.
Luana was born and raised in San Diego, Calif. She graduated from Chula Vista High School class of ‘56 and attended classes at CSU Stanislaus as a music major. Her passion was singing and being a member of the Turlock Community Choir, MJC Masterworks Chorus and the Modesto Symphony Orchestra Choir. Over her lifetime she worked for and/or volunteered at the Turlock Journal, Medic Alert, Central Valley Dance Co., Skandifest, AZ Videos, Project Yes, and Stanislaus County Tourism. She was very friendly, full of enthusiasm, and always involved in the community.
We will remember her for her love of family, music, the arts, gardening, and community service. We will miss you deeply Nana (Luana).
She is survived by children, Viki, Mark, Torrey, Tony and Lisa; grandchildren, Julie, Jeremy, Ashley, Ericka, Cindy, Alex, Christopher, Mathew, Shannon and Jonathan; and great-grandchildren, Kayla, Alyssa, Austin, Hannah, Payton, Andrew, Zachery, Travis, Olivia, Layla, Forrest and baby Braden on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, C. J. Dixon and Frances Reutershan; and her son, Torrey.
