He was born in Santa Barbara, Terceira, Azores and entered into rest at his home surrounded by his family in Hilmar, Ca; He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Hilmar and PSFA of Hilmar. Survivors- Wife- Filomena N. Borges of Hilmar, Son- Paul C. Borges and his wife Diane of Modesto, Daughters- Lynette Borges of Hilmar and Melanie Gregorio and her husband Anthony of Hilmar, Brother- Henrique Borges of Canada, Sister- Elsa Fagundes and her husband Tarciso of Canada, 6- Grandchildren-  Austin Gregorio, Izik Gregorio, Ryan Gregorio, Acea Gregorio all of Hilmar, Lliana Borges and Edyla Borges of Modesto.
