Turlock

Lula Benjamin, 73 passed away Wednesday, September 7th at the Community Hospice House in Hughson.
Born in Quitman, Arkansas on October 10, 1937, Lula came to Turlock in 1956 where she met and married her husband of 53 years, Marshall Benjamin.
Lula was a 20 year employee at Snider Lumber Co. and a long-time Turlock resident.
She is survived by her husband Marshall Benjamin, daughter Sheila Benjamin McBride, and two grandsons, Michael McBride and Jesse Silva, all of Turlock.  She is also survived by two sisters, Freda Clark of Modesto and Paulette Myers of Pine Mountain Lake and one brother, Bob Varner of Las Vegas, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for the family and friends will be held at Turlock Memorial Park, Today, Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at 11:00am
