M. Carolyn Anderson went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2018 in Turlock, CA. She was 88 years old.

Carolyn was born on May 16, 1930 to Axel and Millicent Thorwall. Although she spent the first six years of her life in Turlock, she spent the remainder of her childhood growing up in Minneapolis, MN. After high school, she attended Trinity Bible School in Chicago, IL.

On June 9, 1956, Carolyn married the love of her life, David R.T. Anderson in Minneapolis. After marriage, Carolyn devoted herself to her family and raised four children.

Carolyn loved to serve the Lord, her family and friends, and many others with all her heart. An avid member of Crossroads Church, she loved to sing in the choir and participate in church activities. 

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, David Anderson and her granddaughter, Kiersten Clark. She is survived by her daughters, Chalice (Russell) Clark and Sandra (Jim) Yost; her sons, Kenton (Kelly) Anderson and Steven (Stephanie) Anderson; as well as 9 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, in the Berg Hall at Covenant Village, 2125 N. Olive Ave., Turlock, CA 95382. A private burial for Carolyn’s family will be held on a later date.
