Rose Marie Miner,79 of Turlock passed away at home with her family by her side. Marie was born in Bartlesville, OK to Albert and Olive Duffey.  Marie married Floyd Miner in 1951, sharing 61 years together. Marie worked at Emanuel Hospital for over 15 years as a switchboard operator and she volunteered for the past 8 years at St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Shop in Patterson, Ca.
Marie loved her family deeply and had a passion for cooking and baking; her favorite book was any cookbook. She always gave a hug to someone visiting, and wouldn’t let them leave without another. Marie was truly a genuine kind hearted and loving person who will be severely missed by all who she has touched.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Floyd Miner of Turlock, children Dwight (Nina) Miner of Redwood City, Amanda Summers of Republic of Nepal, David (Henrietta) Miner of Elk Grove, Tim Miner of Lead Hill, AR., Sharon Fawcett of Galena, MO., and Daniel (Robynn) Miner of Turlock. She is also survived by grandchildren Kelli Crowley, Samantha Juarez, Shawna Rocha and four others; and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Allen Mortuary, Monday, April 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; a graveside service will follow on Tuesday, April 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Turlock Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers or gifts, a donation can be made in Marie’s name to the Faithful Servant Memorial Fund; Church of God 7th Day  2100 Tienda Dr. Lodi, CA 95242.
