Marjorie Nixon, 86, of Oakland, passed away of natural causes. She was born in Ohio and lived most of her life in Oakland, where she worked as an executive secretary for Kaiser.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, George Nixon. They spent the last five years at Paramount Court in Turlock. Marjorie and George loved flying their plane and both had their pilot’s licenses. They were charter members of the Mercedes-Benze Club and the Gull Wing Group of Northern California. After George passed away in 2009, Margie longed to move back to Oakland. Her last six months were spent in Oakland with her nephew, Donnie Whiteis and Kandi Pietsch.
Marjorie is survived by her sister-in-law, Polly Johnston of Turlock; brothers- in-law, Les Nixon of Reno and Nick Nixon of Boulder City; and many scattered nieces and nephews.

She was loved by so many, will be missed dearly, but never forgotten.
A graveside service will be held to honor Marjorie at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 23 at Denair Cemetery. Please share your memories and condolences at www.allenmortuary.com. Allen Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
