Marvin Ernest, 67, of Turlock, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House on Monday.  Marvin went home to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer. Marvin owned and operated AAA Sewing Machine in Modesto for 22 years and was in the business for 45 years. Time with family and riding his Harley were his favorite things. He will be remembered for his gentle manner and deep soft voice. His kindness touched many lives.

Marvin was the eldest of 13 children. Marvin is survived by his wife, Sue (CJ) Ernest; mother, June Ernest; sons, John and David Ernest; and four grandchildren. He was a loving stepfather and step-grandfather, and is survived by Keith Eusebio, Rondi Neri, Rick and Leslie Gutierrez; and five grandsons. He is also survived by six brothers, five sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Danny; and his sister, Sue.

Services are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. Viewing will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 20. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21 at Allen Mortuary, with burial to follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Clovis Cemetery 305 North Villa Ave., Clovis, CA 93612.
