Mary Wagner, 81, passed away quietly at her Turlock home on Tuesday, Nov. 3. A graveside service is planned for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Turlock Memorial Park.
Born and raised in Cement, Okla., Mary and her family moved around the U.S. for years with her husband, Virgil’s, Navy career. They moved to Turlock in 1970, where she is well known by the community for her friendly, faithful service at Latif’s Restaurant for 20 years. She was also active in the Denair Friends Church. Mary loved her family and will be greatly missed.
Mary is survived by sons, Earl (Betty) Wagner and Merle (Laurie) Wagner of Ripon and Larry Lee (Karyn) Wagner of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Peggy Arnold of Turlock and Betty Sell of Denair; 12 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Wagner; and daughters, Vickie Ruth Wagner and Debra Thomas.
