Mary Patricia Klavon, born Mary Dell Dart on July 3, 1915, passed away peacefully on June 21 in San Ramon. Mary and her husband, Gus, raised their family in Hayward after moving from Nebraska. She then moved to Fremont and lived in Hilmar until her husband passed. She then moved to Carson City, Nev. to be closer to her sons, but recently moved back to California for the remainder of her life. Mary was a very generous, loving, and respected woman who lived her life to please her family and friends. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. There will not a single day pass that she will not be greatly missed.
Mary is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Shirley) of Markleville and Gus (Liz) of Pleasanton; and grandchildren, Michi, John, Marty, Angela, Patricia, Julie, Rebecca, Teresa, Christine, Corrina, Richard, Marisa, Michelle, Rhonda and Todd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus W. Klavon Sr.; and her sons, John and Richard.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on July 3 at North Hilmar Cemetery with a reception following at Westford Estates, 500 N. Tully, Turlock.
