Mary Ruth Ashlock, 57, of Turlock, passed away Sunday at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock. Mrs. Ashlock was a native of Mineral Wells, Texas and a resident of Turlock for six years. She lived most of her life in Patterson and was a homemaker for 37 years.
She is survived by her son, Chuck Ollar of Harrison, Ariz.; daughter, Alexis Ashlock of Turlock; father, Herman Elliott of Oklahoma; brother, Herman Lee Elliott of Salida; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ashlock; son, Steven Ray Elliott; daughters, Donna Ashlock and Tracey Ashlock; mother, Naomi Brough; and step-father, Sidney Brough.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27 at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. Inurnment will follow at Patterson District Cemetery in Patterson.
