Maxima was born in the Philippines to Gabino and Eufrecinia Malto in 1917. She married Sid Yanit and they moved to San Jose, CA in 1978 before settling in Atwater. She loved to dance, sing and play the harp.

Maxima is survived by her children Lili Corpuz of Atwater, Rudy Yanit and Oliver Yanit both of San Jose; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Sid Yanit; and five siblings.

Viewing will be at Allen Mortuary on Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 10:00 - 7:00 p.m. Funeral will be at Allen Mortuary on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. Please share your memories at www.allenmortuary.com.
