Michael was born in Patterson to Frank and Rose Mary Silva and passed away at the age of 60.  He graduated from Hilmar High School and was a lifelong farmer and dairyman.  He was an FFA national finalist for dairy production.  Michael was an avid fan of the Oakland Raiders and Athletics.

Michael is survived by his brothers Richard Silva and Timothy Silva of Hilmar, sisters Bernadette Buehner of Idaho, Elizabeth Finseth of Modesto, and Kathleen  Silva of Hilmar, nephews Stephen Buehner and Kevin Buehner, and niece Kelli McKee.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Frankie.

Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 8471 Cypress St., Hilmar CA  95324.
