Michael Boyd, 55, of Turlock, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center after a two year battle with cancer. Michael was born at Emanuel Hospital in Turlock to Henry and Lynn Boyd. He graduated from Turlock High School. He was a high school athlete competing in baseball and wrestling.  For 35 years he worked as a carpenter in home construction. He enjoyed playing softball, gambling, and hanging out with his friends. Michael had lots of friends. He will be greatly missed.
Michael was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother Lynn Norcott of Oregon, sisters Wanda and Kathy of Washington; brothers Anthony and Todd of Oregon, Companion Cindy Boyd Martinez of Turlock, Children David (Monique) Boyd of Modesto, Michael Boyd of Arkansas, Mandy (Jeremy) Salyers of Atwater, and Christi (Manuel) Medina of Turlock, Amanda Stoneking of Ceres, and 19 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
