Nancy Jean Shehan of Denair passed away on Aug. 21 at Emanuel Medical center.  She was 73.
Born in Colorado, Nancy was raised in Santa Clara, Calif. and moved to Turlock in 1962. She settled in Denair in 1988.  She was a personal care attendant for Sequoia where she was employed for 25 years.  
Nancy belonged to Gateway Community Church in Denair.  She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Don Shehan of Denair; daughter, Sherrie Van Gaalen; sons, Kim Shehan, Chris  Shehan, and James Shehan, all of Denair; grandchildren, Allen and Melissa Cherry of Turlock, Erik and Melissa Van Gaalen of Denair, Katie and Rian Anzalone of Keyes, Bethany and Jonathon Miller of Modesto, Brian Shehan of Denair, Britteny Shehan of Denair, Daniel Shehan of Denair, and Sarah Shehan of Denair; four great grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, and one sister.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, Aug. 26 at Allen Mortuary.
