Nikki Lynne Whittiker, 67, of Denair went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 18, 2015.  Born in White Salmon, WA, September 4, 1948 to Richard Lawrence Collins and Julia Jenny V. Muender, she was the second born of four sisters and two younger brothers.

She worked in retail at Bonanza 88 and J C Penney’s before finding her calling as a caregiver.  Nikki thoroughly enjoyed the next 18 years working with the elderly, most until their passing.  In 2006, Nikki married Paul Riley Whittiker and set up home in Denair.  She attended Gateway Community Church, where she sang in the choir, babysat, was a part of the Woman of the Word and assisted in feeding the community.

Nikki was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Rogers and stepfather, Dick Rogers.  She is survived by her husband Paul, father Richard (Karen) Collins of YamHill, OR, daughters Cindy (Art) Gaona of Turlock, Michelle (John) Victory of Moreno Valley and son Richard (Maureen) Pereira of Turlock, sisters, Laurie Collins, Markie Trimble, Toni (Bob) Crummett all of Hillsboro, OR, Cynthia Collins of Lacey, WA, Jennifer (Erik) Appel or Emeryville, CA, and brothers, Greg Rogers of Tigard, OR and Doug Collins of Tualatin, OR and 11 grandchildren.    

Services will be held at Turlock Memorial Park, November 27, 2015 at 11am with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
