Funeral services for Ninous Gharaglo Younan, 94, will be held 11 a.m. July 18 at the Ceres Church of the East with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park. Ninous Gharaglo Younan passed away at Stanford Hospital.
He was born in Iran to Julia Yousep and the late Ilia Younan on June 27, 1915. He received an architectural doctorate degree after 30 years of education in Iran and the United States. He settled in San Rafael, Calif. 30 years ago. When he was raised in Iran, he belonged to the Church of the East of Iran.
He is survived by his mother, Julia Younan; and brother, Nelson Younan.
