Nora Maldonado, 74, of Turlock passed away on Monday at Doctor’s Medical Center. She was born in Talihina, Okla. to Leon and Ruth Jordon in 1936. She had lived in Southern California, Salem, Ore. and Redwood City, Calif. before settling in Turlock. She worked for Tri Valley Growers for over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was always on the go.

Nora is survived by her children, Randy Beers of Woodland, Calif., Richard Beers of Turlock, Robert Beers of New Jersey, Jackie Durant of San Jose, Calif. and Felipe Maldonado of Turlock; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clemente Maldonado; and sister, Joyce Zeito.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, at Allen Mortuary, with burial following at Turlock Memorial Park.
