Norma Jean (Basham) Blackwell, 72 of Turlock, passed away of Pancreatic Cancer on January 12, 2016 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House.  She was born in Casa Grande, Arizona and raised in Redland, CA.  She married Bob Blackwell April 28, 1961.

Norma is preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Langley; father, Coleman Basham; sister Joann Jennings; and brother Paul Basham.  She is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, Bob Blackwell; daughter, Brenda (Andy) Thomas of Delhi, CA; sons, Bobby (Caren) Blackwell of Chowchilla, CA; and Samuel (Mary Jo) Blackwell; grandchildren, Lindsey (Michael) Blanc; Justin (Hillary) Blackwell; Cody Thomas; Garret Thomas; Samuel Blackwell; Nicole Blackwell and Allison Cordozo; siblings ,

Coleman Basham of Calimesa, CA and David (Billie) Basham of East Bend, NC; Cousins, Patsy; Betty; and Jenell.

Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Community Hospice 4368 Spyres Way Modesto, CA 95356.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 3pm - 5pm at Allen Mortuary.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016, 10am also at Allen Mortuary with a burial to follow at Denair Cemetery.
