Odessa Benson, 85, of Turlock passed away of natural causes at Brandel Manor in Turlock on Thursday, September 29th. She was born in Texarkana, AR, to Charles and Alma Satterfield in 1926. She settled in Turlock in 1958. She was a member of Turlock American Legion Post 88, Women's Auxiliary and Modesto Four Wheelers. Odessa enjoyed gardening and camping. She loved being with family.

Odessa is survived by her children Donna (Danny) Vierra of Turlock, Ranny (Kathy) Autrey of Sparks, NV and Terry (Sandy) Autrey of Gustine; sister Betty Davidson; niece LaVern Pickering; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Odessa is preceded in death by her husbands Henry Autrey, Eugene Lively, and Lloyd Benson; son Danny Autrey; and nine siblings.

Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. A visitation will be at Allen Mortuary on Thursday, October 6th from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a funeral service following at 5:00. A private family burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Emanuel, 825 Delbon Ave, Turlock, CA 95382 or Brandel Manor, 1801 N. Olive Ave, Turlock, CA 95382.
