Orla Leona Stevinson, 90, of Stevinson, died Thursday at Brandel Manor in Turlock. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 1 at Sunnyside Cemetery, 2872 N. Cemetery Rd., Stevinson.
Ora was born Jan. 8, 1920 in Turlock. She was a homemaker for 70 years and a member of Merquin Elementary School in Stevinson. She enjoyed reading and traveling with her daughter, Janice, in the summers.
She is survived by her sons, Floyd Samuel Stevinson Jr. of Pensacola, Fla. and Reed S. Stevinson of Stevinson; daughters, Janice Kamprud of Carlsborg, Wash., Susan Carole of Sequin, Wash. and Debra Ann Stevinson of Sequin Wash.; brother, Walter Rhinehardt of Sonora; sister, Marybell Hopinks of El Cajon; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Samuel Stevinson in 1994; and son, Russell Lynn Stevinson in 1980.
Services under the direction of Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service of Turlock.
