Ormecinda Borba, 83, of Turlock, died Thursday in Turlock. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel. A combined rosary/mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Ave. She will rest in peace at Hills Ferry Cemetery District, Newman.
Ormecinda was a homemaker for 61 years and a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock.
She is survived by her children, Jose D. Borba of Tracy, Manuel T. Borba of Los Banos, Frank Borba of Gustine, Fatima Dias of Hilmar, Maria Leonardo of Tracy and Filomena Cabral of Antiochp; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and sisters, Olivia Rodrigues, Fatima Fontes and Maria Ines Soares, all of Providence, RI, and Eugenia Sequeira of Terceira, Azores.
