May 29, 2018, Raymond Dale Lewis, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed into the arms of his savior Jesus Christ at the age of 74 with his loving wife Sandi, and daughter Michelle, by his side. Dale was born in Turlock, Ca. to Noah and Dollie Lewis. Dale was so small when he was born that his first baby bed was in a dresser drawer. He was the baby of the family and yes, he was a little spoiled.  Dale attended all his school years in Turlock and graduated from Turlock High School in 1962. After graduation, Dale moved to San Mateo to live with his sister Arneal, where he started his banking career and became the youngest person to become Manager of Central Valley National Bank.

Dale worked for several various banks before leaving the Banking industry to go into the Property & Home development industry where he worked for several companies as their Superintendent, Manager, or  Purchasing Agent. In 1964 Dale married Edie Smith. Together they had 2 children, Tony & Michelle. Dale settled in Modesto where he raised his family and continued his working career.  In 1988 Dale married Sandi McCloud and acquired stepdaughter Amber. Sadly, Amber passed away only  2 months prior to Dale’s passing. Dale retired in 2006 at the age of 62.  Retiring gave Dale time to help with caring for their grandchildren, enjoy church activities and traveling. Dale is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Sandi. He is also survived by his children: Tony Lewis, Michelle Lewis-Overend. Grandchildren: Courtnie Wright, Gabriel Overend, Noah Lewis, Tanner Lewis, Austin Haase, Victoria Haase,  Liam Glover, Samantha Haase, Nova McCloud.  Great-grandchildren:  Cayden and Karahleigh Karpan. Sister-in-law: Leona Lewis. Also many nephews, nieces, and friends.   Dale was proceeded in death by his Parents: Noah & Dollie Lewis; Brothers Eldon & Cleatus Lewis; Sisters: Wilma Lewis & Arneal Walding; stepdaughter: Amber Haase; and infant twins. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. located at Shelter Cove Church, 4242 Coffee Road, Modesto, Ca.
