Raymond Quincy Blake was born in Oklahoma and passed away on Dec. 14 at age 82.
Raymond came to California as a child. He married his wife, Ramona, and was married 62 years. During his 34-year career in law enforcement, he rose to the rank of Police Chief of Atwater. He served as treasurer for the Salvation Army and was a Rotary Club member. He was a devoted member of the Turlock Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Raymond was a loving husband and devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Ramona; daughter, Cindy Sprinkel; grandchildren, Tami Beebe, Chad Blake, Raymond Blake and Robert Blake; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Nicholas, Gracie, Emma and Beau; and brothers, Curt, Delbert and Billy, all of Hanford.  
He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Blake.
There will be a viewing from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17 at Allen Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 18 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2400 N. Olive Ave. in Turlock. Due to road construction, enter the church in the back off of Tuolumne Road. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Winton Cemetery.
