Rex D. Schell, 86, of Olathe, Ks, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Homestead of Olathe.  Memorial services will be at 1pm, Saturday, December 7th, at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home. A reception will follow the memorial services.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 7611 State Line Road, Suite 200, Kansas City, Mo 66114.
Rex was born on August 8, 1927 in Rocky Comfort, Missouri to Earl and Mina (Berry) Schell.  He was preceded in death by his sons, Gary and Randy, sisters, Ina and Mary Helen and brother, Jerry.
Survivors include his daughter, Terry and her husband Jim Wright of Willow, Alaska; 3 grandchildren, Kari, Jacqueline and Haley, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Rex will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him!
