Rick was born in 1961 to Kenneth and Patricia Hall and passed away at the age of 56 after a long illness.  He graduated from Denair High School in 1978 and served as a medic and drill sergeant in the US Army from 1981-1984.  Rick was an ordained minister and was honored to perform weddings for many family members. Rick was very talented and creative; his hobbies included gardening, crafting, crochet and interior design.  He will be fondly remembered for always having a glass of iced tea and peanut butter cup in his hand.  He is survived by his life partner of 19 years David Poe; siblings Terry Helnore and Lori Biddie; aunt Teva Weston and numerous nieces and nephews.  Rick was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Hall and Patricia Hall and brother Robin Hall. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to American Cancer Society. Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 3:00-6:00p.m.  Funeral service will also be at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 9:00a.m. with burial to follow at Denair Cemetery.
