Ricky passed away peacefully at the age of 69, surrounded by his loving and devoted family.  He was a graduate of Turlock High School, Class of ’64, where he was voted “Most Beautiful Eyes” and attended Modesto Junior College for a time.  He married Susan Peters in 1966.  He grew up in the family farming business and enjoyed the farming lifestyle.  He worked with his father at George Gioletti and Sons Dairy and later went on his own to start Ricky Gioletti and Sons Farming.  In addition to farming Ricky was a talented fabricator and could build almost anything.  He enjoyed tractor pulling and built his tractor the “Italian Stallion” and was a member of Mountain View Pull Team.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Ricky was a volunteer fireman for Mountain View Fire Department, and was a member of the Ports Auto Club.  He was well respected in the community and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his children Lisa Gioletti, Jason (Laurie) Gioletti and Anthony Gioletti; brother Robert (Eloise) Gioletti.  Ricky was preceded in death by his parents George and Emma Gioletti.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Mountain View Rec Association c/o Michael Carvalho 11443 Crows Landing Rd. Crows Landing, CA 95313 or to the charity of donor’s choosing.  

Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 3:00-7:00p.m. Rosary and Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 10:30a.m. with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.  Please share your memories at www.AllenMortuary.com
