Roger McCleland, 52, of Mariposa, died March 11 in Mariposa. A private service was held.
Roger was a dry waller for 30 years and a member of the New 49ers Club. He enjoyed fishing and motorcycles.
Roger is survived by his companion, Cody Ward of Mariposa; father, Oscar McCleland of Prairie Grove, Ark.; son, Cody McCleland of Texas; daughters, Stormi Smith of Mariposa, Summer Gann of North Bend, Ore. and Misty Ward of Mariposa; brothers, Hank McCleland and James McCleland of Arkansas, and Wayne McCleland and Gary McCleland; and sisters, Mary Craghead, Linda Daniels of Arkansas, Betty Hefner of Arkansas, Doris Lindsay of Arkansas, Evelyn New of Arkansas, Melba McCleland of Alaska and Margaret Collins of Alaska. He was preceded in death by his mother, Winnie McCleland; and sister, Sharon Fernside.
Services are under the direction of Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service of Turlock.
