Ron was born in Turlock, California in 1961 and lived there until 1980 when his family moved to Incline Village, NV.  Ron realized that fast cars, snow skiing and and traveling with family would bring much joy.  Ron never met a stranger and adventure lead him to many places in his life.  With the mutual interest with his parents for a love of classic cars, this drew him to own a variety  of gorgeous classic cars, including his favorite a 63 Corvette, Split Window with fuel injection which had been completely restored and was his pride and joy.  With the strong desire for travel, adventure and spending time with his parents, Gerald and Betty, they set out for many destinations in their various motorhomes, including, Glacier National Park, Alaska, Canada, a two month trip to the east coast visiting 30 states, entire west coast, Arizona, Utah, Nevada and the list goes on.  With his strong interest in recreational vehicles this provided a career he was born to be involved with, which included buying, selling, trading and assisting families with achieving the appropriate RV to suite their needs.
Helping others was what Ron did!  You’ve heard the cliché “He would  give you the shirt off his back”....that describes Ron to a “T”.  His love and affection for older people has been so very touching to many.  Needless to say, he has been adopted by many as their “son”.....or “brother”.  The sudden loss of Ron due to a tragic accident has brought together many that loved him, not just as a friend, but like a member of their family.   Our hearts are broken, but Ron knew Jesus and is in Heaven not wanting us to grieve but celebrate his very eventual and meaningful life.  R
Ron is survived by his parents Gerald and Betty Thiessen of Sequim, WA; brother Gary and his wife Peggy Thiessen of Turlock, CA; sister Sherri Thiessen Clark of Yorba Linda, CA; nephews Steve Thiesen, his wife Sherry and their children Rebekah and Landon of Kuna, ID; Colby Clark, his wife Carrie-Anne and their children Gabe Vera and Nolan of Yorba Linda, CA; nieces Shellee Thiessen Sutton, her husband Eric and their children Auston, Jenna and Taylor of Turlock, CA; and CarriAnn Clark Gravitt, her husband Todd and their children Kylie, Kennedy and Taylor of Brea, CA.
