Turlock

Rosemarie Zubeldia, 81, of Turlock, passed away on December 19 in Modesto after a short illness.
Rosemarie was born in Lemoore, CA to Rose and Anthony Rocha.  She married Frank Zubeldia Jr. of Lemoore in 1950.  They made a home in Riverdale, CA for 46 years where she was involved in many aspects of the family sheep business.  Rosemarie was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved making life special for her family.  Her home was warm and welcoming to all who visited and she loved to entertain family and friends.  Her life revolved around her family and in 1996 they moved to Turlock to be able to enjoy their two grandchildren.  She recently became a great-grandmother and was able to spend time with her great-grandson Heath before her passing. 
Rosemarie was loved by all who knew her and will be remembered for her kind and caring personality, positive attitude, selflessness, and generosity towards others. 
Rosemarie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Frank Zubeldia, Jr. on January 6, 2011 and her son Frank Zubeldia, III, December 4, 2011.  She is survived by daughter Francine DiCiano.  She leaves three sisters, Nateva Solomon, Emma Miguel and Janet Crets, and two grandchildren, Breanne and Dominic DiCiano.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Rocha.
Private interment services at Holy Cross Cemetery in Fresno will take place at a later date, followed by a private family celebration of life.
