He was born February 1930 in Broken Arrow, Okla., where he lived until he was 13 years old. He played football at Hayward High School in California. He received an honorable discharge from the United States Army in 1951. He married Barbara Pryor in 1951, and they had five children together: Mile, Annabelle, Mark, Elizabeth and Kenny. In addition to being a builder
by trade he was a preacher, pastor of seven churches during his 55 years in the ministry, the last 20 of which at the Lighthouse Church in Waterford.
He was a man of God, full of wisdom and love and a wonderful sense of humor.
We were so blessed to have him in our lives.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9 at Allen Mortuary, with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
